Craft Knowledge Base
The main goal of the Craft Knowledge Base is to give team members the information and resources they need when they need it and how they need it. From small project briefs to service blueprint presentation decks, the Craft Knowledge Base should be be the single source of truth for existing and future team members.
The Craft Knowledge Base is made up of a Craft Content Repository + Delivery Consistency Process Documentation, and it will always be a continual work-in-progress, constantly growing and evolving as the practice grows. The goal of the Craft Knowledge Base is to provide each team member with the assets, tools, resources, and instruction to do their job most effectively.
Initial Goals
Make sure the assets / resources that team members will search for and consume are up-to-date, consistent in quality and work to move our craft forward
Create delivery consistency “checklists” that are accurate and relevant to each practice
Add pre-requisite or recommended content area to project spaces
Link delivery consistency tools to craft resources without sacrificing craft content quality
Satisfy / create plan and approach to satisfy all must-haves in survey results
A summary of initial research, content inventory tools, process inventory tools and other related exercises and worksheets are available as presentation upon request.
